Country Football and Netball
Local football and netball clubs contribute to community participation, providing healthier, more active communities and mentoring players, coaches, and volunteers. The upgrade of football and netball facilities across regional Victoria will support the increase in participation in country football and netball.
The Country Football and Netball Program assists country football and netball clubs, associations and umpiring organisations to develop their facilities in regional locations.
Funding is available to improve community football and netball facilities such as the development of playing surfaces, change room facilities and development or upgrade of sports lighting.
Eligibility
Only eligible councils can apply directly to the Department of Planning and Community Development for funding. Clubs and associations can apply for funding by submitting an Expression of Interest to their local council. Click here to find your local council.
Delivery
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Check Sport and Recreation Victoria for further details and dates of when applications need to be submitted in order to be considered in the next assessment period.
