Advancing Country Towns

Advancing Country Towns is a $9.4 million initiative that aims to revitalise nine communities in regional and rural Victoria through improved coordination of investment to create new prosperity and improve quality of life.

The program aims to build the capacity of local people to identify and form strategic partnerships with government, businesses and not-for-profit organisations.

The Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional and Rural Development will launch the Advancing Country Towns program on Friday 8 July in Fish Creek.

The program is led by the Department of Planning and Community Development. Program details will be uploaded following the launch.

*This program was formerly known as Revitalising Regional Towns and Small Towns Adaptation.
