Provincial Victoria Arts Experience
Arts and culture are a major contributor to the character and identity of a town. The Government believes vibrant and diverse arts and cultural activities should be accessible to all Victorians.
Through the Provincial Victoria Arts Experience, the Government will provide high quality arts and cultural experiences across Victoria's network of regional art galleries and performing arts centres - with a focus on taking these experiences to smaller communities.
The program will facilitate the development and touring of high quality arts products and support the professional management and programming of regional art galleries and performing arts centres. These arts and cultural activities will contribute to the liveability of regional towns as well as bringing economic benefits by attracting tourists and stimulating investment.
