Objectives of Program

The Victorian Government is investing in the future of regional Victoria to create jobs, grow local industries and businesses, and build the projects that matter to Victorian communities. We do this by working with industry and our communities. Our three GovHubs at Ballarat, the Latrobe Valley and Bendigo are a key part of our commitment. These regional employment hubs have capacity of up to 1000 local workers (up to 300 for Latrobe Valley GovHub) who each contribute to the vibrancy of their communities.

Each GovHub is unique to its area, and has been developed in close consultation with local government and communities. They bring new public service roles to their regions, while allowing existing government staff to all work together under one roof in the centre of town.
