Flood Repair Advisory Service

Monday 19 December 2011

The Flood Repair Advisory Service is providing free advice and support to flood-affected households throughout the rebuilding and repair process.

Households and communities can obtain direct advice on building matters through face-to-face site visits.

The service can also facilitate contact with key agencies, such as local councils and the Building Commission, so that property owners can find builders, obtain building quotations and secure building permits.

The Flood Repair Advisory Service offers advice on the issues that specifically relate to flood-damaged properties – reblocking, buckled floors, treatment for damp and mould, and the best time to conduct works.

To access the Flood Repair Advisory Service call 1300 165 413.
