Funding for new East Gippsland TAFE Campus in Sale

Minister for Higher Education and Skills Peter Hall visited East Gippsland TAFE's Port of Sale development site today to formally announce funding of $1.5 million for the first stage of the new education precinct.
Mr Hall said the funding – part of the Victorian Government's recent state budget was an important milestone and would be used to commence design work, tender documentation and site preparation.
Port of Sale is a prime location that will usher in a new era of educational accessibility and opportunity for East Gippsland TAFE students and the people of Sale. It will also play an important part in helping boost the local economy.
The new purpose built facility will deliver enhanced tertiary programs and opportunities in conjunction with East Gippsland TAFE's higher education partners, Deakin University and Ballarat University.
