Helping Victoria’s diverse wine industry to flourish

RDV trade and investment specialists right across the state have been working closely with Victoria’s passionate wine-makers and cellar door operators over the past 12 months to help the industry make the most of the Victorian Government’s Wine Growth Fund.

RDV helped wine businesses and partnerships to develop projects that would increase wine tourism and cellar door sales, improve strategic planning and marketing, and improve vineyard production.

Over two funding rounds, 94 projects in Victoria’s 22 distinct wine regions were successful in receiving funding, which will benefit many more wineries and help the industry to go from strength to strength.

The Wine Growth Fund aims sustainably grow the wine industry in Victoria by providing innovative growers, organisations and projects with funding to build both domestic and international markets.

Victoria’s wine industry plays a vital role in regional and rural economies, contributing an estimated $7.6 billion to the Victorian economy and employing nearly 13,000 people.

RDV has been proud to assist producers, intermediaries and representative bodies maximise the opportunities available to better market and export some of Australia’s best wine.
