Melbourne East RDA Committee
- Lydia Wilson (Acting Chair and Deputy Chair) is the Chief Executive Officer, City of Manningham. Previously CEO City of Yarra and Macedon Ranges Shire. Has worked in diverse communities in both metropolitan and regional areas and held executive positions with the City of Maroondah and former City of Collingwood.
- Maria Alibrando is the Executive Director of Enterprise and Government Services, Maria is responsible for institute-wide strategy for the acquisition, project implementation and ongoing monitoring of commercial fee for service work for our local and national market.
- Frank Dixon is the Chief Executive Officer, Maroondah City Council. He has 30 years' experience in Local Government, including General Manager (CEO) at Launceston City and various executive positions at Hume City Council.
- Diane Fisher is the Principal of The Balance Approach, with specialist skills in Change Management. Has worked across a wide range of industries and has experience in commercial sector, primary industry and third sector entities.
- Will Gerhard is the Coordinator of Business and Economic Development at the City of Whitehorse. Previous experience includes roles with Business Victoria, the City of Monash and the Reserve Bank of Australia.
- Jane McLoughlin is Chief of Staff and Director, Office of the Vice-Chancellor at Monash University. Jane has many years experience working in the UK Higher Education sector, she also worked in partnership with the North East of England’s Regional Development Agency on a major regeneration program for Newcastle upon Tyne - ‘Newcastle Science City’.
- Simon O’Callaghan is the Executive Officer of Economic Development, Shire of Yarra Ranges. His previous roles have included work in event and sports management and small business.
- Peter Chaffey (Leave of Absence) is Knox City Council’s Economic Development Coordinator. Over 25 years experience in developing and delivering regional policies, programs and projects for government, business and industry, including 15 in Local Government.
