Regional Plan
A key task for the Melbourne East RDA Committee has been the preparation of the Regional Plan. This strategic Regional Plan, based on existing research, outlines the strengths and the issues that Melbourne’s East faces and the priorities that the Melbourne East RDA Committee aim to address. It also provides a framework for all levels of government to assist in the formulation of local policies.
The Partners Draft 2011 Regional Plan was widely distributed for consultation in September 2011 and was available to business, industry and the community for review and discussion. Feedback on this Partners Draft Melbourne East RDA Regional Plan was welcome and was incorporated into the final version of the 2011 Regional Plan.
