Dedicated Tourism Sector Funding
The Australian Government has dedicated $5million to the tourism sector to support businesses and regions struggling or undergoing structural adjustment and reform.
Individual or business collectives, professional associations, industry bodies, chambers of commerce, RDAs and regional tourism bodies can apply in their own right or act as an umbrella for local initiatives and projects.
The emphasis should be on supporting workforce development and improving workplace skills through attaining vocational qualifications.
