Ned Kelly Interpretive Centre Re-Scoping Study

Hume RDA is providing support to the Rural City of Wangaratta, in conjunction with Tourism Victoria, to deliver the Ned Kelly Interpretive Centre Rescoping Study. The Study will examine the potential for a nationally-significant Ned Kelly Interpretive Centre at Glenrowan, building on a feasibility study undertaken in 2003. The study will also explore linkages with the newly declared Warby-Ovens National Park and the Winton Wetlands to identify the potential for the development of regional tourism products.

Stage One of the project is underway and involves detailed research and data capture.

Hume RDA is supporting Stage Two of the project which will include the development of a business plan and final report.

The Ned Kelly Interpretive Centre Re-Scoping Study is being led by the Rural City of Wangaratta and is due for completion by May 2012.
