Western Melbourne RDA Committee
Chair: Bill Jaboor has been CEO of Hobsons Bay Council since 2004. He was formerly CEO of the City of Greater Shepparton from 1994 to 2004. Bill is a Board Member of the Port Phillip and Westernport Catchment Management Authority and a Director of the Seaworks Foundation.
Deputy Chair: Bill Noonan OAM received his OAM for services to the road transport industry. He is a member of the Federal Government's Department of Health and Ageing Reference Group, Chairman of the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation, Commissioner of the National Transport Commission, Director of the Institute for Breathing and Sleep and an Australia Day Ambassador.
Committee members
- Vivienne Amery is CEO of Tweddle Child and Family Health Service, an early parenting and family health service in Footscray. She has a strong record of community service, undertaking leadership positions in the EPA and the health and community sector.
- Greg Aplin is Director of Sustainable Development at Wyndham Council and has had 25 years of experience in local government.
- Peter Dawkins was appointed Vice-Chancellor and President of Victoria University in January 2011. This followed six years in high level leadership roles for the Victorian Government and 28 years in the university sector.
- Nick Foa has been CEO at Brimbank City Council since 2007. He was formerly a General Manager at Maribyrnong City Council and is the current President of Local Government Professionals Victoria (LGPro).
- Barry Harvey AM is Managing Director of Polar Cold Storage. He is also Chairperson of the WynBay Local Learning and Employment Network and Chair of the Wyndham Industrial Liaison and Development Committee.
- Kenneth Matthews is CEO and Director of Matthews Steer Chartered Accountants. He is Chair of Melbourne’s West Export Network, and was previously Chair of Mercy Hospice and Deputy Chair of Navy Health Ltd.
- Barbara McLure runs her own consultancy business, publishes four weekly electronic newsletters and holds a number of board and committee positions. She has a strong background in finance and management.
- Anton Mayer has been CEO of LeadWest since 2007. He was previously the Head of Economic and Business Development at the City of Geelong from 2003 to 2007, and was State Manager of Austrade from 1998 to 2003.
