Hume RDA Regional Leadership Event 2013

The Hume Regional Development Australia (RDA) Committee hosted the Regional Leadership Event at The Cube (Performing Arts Centre) in Wodonga on Wednesday 2 October 2013.

Over 150 people, including regional business, industry and community leaders  and senior government representatives, gathered to hear from expert presenters to explore ‘game changing’ opportunities for investment and growth in the Hume Region.

The event focused on regional development priorities and the opportunities to strengthen the capacity of the region’s:

  • manufacturing base
  • transport capability and connectivity
  • food economy potential
  • regional cities and centres.

The event was facilitated by well known ABC presenter, Gaye Pattison, and included an interactive Q&A session as well as an ‘On the Couch’ conversation.
