Hume Region Workforce Development Plan 2015-2018

After 18 months of research and engagement with the community, business and industry, the Hume Workforce Development Committee (HWDC) has created the inaugural Hume Region Workforce Development Plan 2015-2018 (PDF 9.4 MB), through funding support from Hume Regional Development Australia.

The aim of the plan is to ‘better align regional skills with current and future industry workforce needs across the state’ for a number of sectors including:

  • Agriculture
  • Health, aged care and community services
  • Manufacturing
  • Transport, warehousing and logistics

Government, industry, education providers and not-for-profit organisations will be involved in progressing priorities of the plan, which is designed to stimulate effective workforce development and planning through regional partnerships and collaborations.

Supporting the Hume Workforce Development Plan 2015-2018 is a summary Fact Sheet (PDF 466.6 KB) and Detailed Action Plan.

Please contact the Hume RDA Committee for further information or a copy of the Detailed Action Plan
