Regional Development Australia Committees
Under a cooperative arrangement between the State and Federal Governments, the five non-metropolitan Victorian Regional Development Australia Committees (RDAs) will provide advice to the Minister for Regional and Rural Development on local priority projects, identified needs and government investment opportunities to be funded from the Local Initiatives component of the RGF.
With support from Regional Development Victoria the operation of these five committees will see a strong local voice at the forefront in regional decision making and assist Victoria in working with the Federal Government to deliver joint regional development partnerships to increase investment in regional and rural communities.
