Distribution centre drives new estate

National wholesale food distribution company, PFD Food Services, became the first tenant at a new Bendigo industrial estate, adding nine new jobs to local employment.
The $3.41 million Wellsford Estate was developed by the City of Greater Bendigo and is the home to PFD's new $1.03 million distribution centre and almost 30 employees. The centre provides storage and distribution of frozen, chilled and dry or ambient temperature food products to central Victoria.
PFD Food Services operates 10 Distribution Centres throughout Victoria, and all staff at the new Distribution Centre received specialist training.
