The Regional Growth Fund offers significant grants of $10 million or more to major transformational projects which support long-term economic growth and create jobs in regions.

Chair of RDA Loddon Mallee, Linda Beilharz (OAM) said the announcement by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development Michael McCormack was a boost for the Loddon Mallee region.

“From caravan park upgrades to new trails and waterfront amenity developments there are so many new projects that are converging to attract more tourists to our four shires and creating jobs and opportunities for local businesses,” said Ms Beilharz.

“RDA Loddon Mallee is glad to be able to support the start of important projects like these which have the potential to create jobs and improve social and economic outcomes in the region.

“Announcements like this show just how far a coordinated and collaborative effort can go in creating great results. We will be following the development of these wonderful rural cities and towns over the next few years with great interest.”
