Regional Community Events Fund
The Regional Community Events Fund will support small events in rural and regional communities across Victoria.
Overview
Events bring thousands of visitors to regional areas, boosting businesses, creating jobs, and helping local economies thrive.
The Regional Community Events Fund (RCEF) helps public community events in regional Victoria with marketing support and the increased costs of running COVIDSafe event.
Objectives of Program
The RCEF focus is on community events for locals. Support will go towards a range of costs associated with hosting events in a COVIDSafe environment, including for density limit management, record keeping and good hygiene practices and marketing activities. Grants will be available up to $25,000.
Funding Details
The RCEF will support our rural and regional communities to get back to hosting and attending the many community events they are known for. Of course, all events will be subject to the relevant public health advice at the time.
The Regional Community Events Fund is now closed for applications.
