New Wodonga HQ boosts jobs and supply chains
24/02/2026There are more regional jobs and more goods reaching markets across Australia, thanks to the establishment of O’Brien Logistics’ new multi-million-dollar headquarters at Wodonga’s Logic Industrial Precinct.
The new facility is 4 times larger than O’Brien’s previous headquarters and has doubled the company’s storage and warehousing capacity – boosting its ability to move goods from manufacturers and wholesalers to people across Australia and overseas.
O’Brien’s new headquarters has brought 140 local jobs to the Logic precinct, 30 of which are newly created full-time roles.
O’Brien Logistics is a third-generation family business which has grown to become one of the nation’s leading road transport and logistics providers.
It delivers transport and warehousing services between key major cities, regional centers, and major export ports – servicing high-profile clients including Coles, Woolworths, Asahi Beverages and Mars Petcare.
With a fleet of more than 50 prime movers and trailers, depots in Melbourne and Sydney, and several shared sites across Australia, O’Brien’s is now primed for growth.
Located on Australia’s premium freight corridor, the Hume Freeway, the Logic Industrial Precinct is a major road and rail logistics and manufacturing hub. Goods from the precinct are capable of reaching more than two-thirds of Australia’s population by next-day transport.
Our support for the Logic Industrial Precinct has also included funding for the new Paper Australia (Opal) multi-million-dollar corrugated packaging manufacturing facility, as well as the Wodonga gas gate project.
This taps into the Melbourne to Sydney high-pressure gas line to deliver consistent natural gas supply to the precinct.
Unlocking more industrial land in regional Victoria through the creation of road, water, power and sewerage connections is a key focus for the Victorian Government, with new support now available through our Trunk Infrastructure Fund.
