The cabin building has white side walls and a white roof, with blue and green entranceways with a wooden veranda featuring three sets of stairs leading to each doorway.

It’s easier than ever for visitors of all ages and abilities to stay at beautiful Beaufort Lake and spend more time exploring what the region has to offer, thanks to 7 new visitor cabins at the popular Beaufort Lake Caravan Park.

Thanks to $500,000 in funding through RDV, there are now 14 cabins at the park.

This includes one that is fully accessible with two bedrooms, a toilet and kitchen, and ramp access – ensuring comfortable and welcoming accommodation for people of all ages and abilities.

The new cabins at Beaufort’s main accommodation provider are set to attract more visitors to stop and stay in the small town, which relies on a vibrant visitor economy to drive growth and prosperity for local businesses and organisations.

The cabins will also help address staffing shortages in the area by being available for fixed term stays for workers unable to find lodgings in the town. This will also help to drive business tourism in the area, expanding Beaufort’s visitor demographics.

The park’s new all-abilities cabin, featuring ramp access to the left side of the building and small stairs at the front. The cabin has blue walls and veranda support beams, with a short white pathway leading to the entrance.

The 14 cabins complement 47 camping sites at the park, creating 61 lots that are ready to welcome visitors to Beaufort Lake.

7 full-time equivalent jobs were supported during the construction of the new cabins.

Our funding for the Beaufort Lakeside Caravan Park is part of our record investment of $47 billion in just over a decade for rural and regional Victoria. Our investments mean more locals have jobs close to home, and regional economies are supported to thrive.

It’s part of our commitment to making Beaufort and the Grampians region even better places to live, work, stay, experience, invest and study.
