We’re opening up industrial land to help businesses and industry grow or relocate to regional Victoria.
This includes providing funding to install essential services like water, sewerage, drainage and road connections on currently undeveloped sites.
Those large-scale infrastructure upgrades, known as ‘trunk infrastructure’, support whole towns and multiple developments. They lay the groundwork for strong local economies and vibrant communities.
This support gives businesses more confidence to establish or grow their investment in our regions.
We’re supporting trunk infrastructure projects at a range of locations, including:
- Avalon Airport Employment Precinct
- Bairnsdale South Industrial Estate
- Ballarat West Employment Zone
- Bendigo Airport Terminal Expansion
- Black Rock Circular Economy Precinct
- Camperdown Production Precinct
- Gippsland Logistics and Manufacturing Precinct
- Greater Avalon Employment Precinct
- Logic Industrial Precinct
- North Geelong Industrial Precinct
- Portland North Employment Precinct.
We’re also working towards supporting more trunk infrastructure projects across Victoria, as part of the Economic Growth Statement.
Projects like these are part of our commitment to making sure regional Victoria is open for business.
