WSM Regional Partnership chairman David Jochinke said it was time to follow on from the success of last year’s event.
'This year we want to dig a little deeper into some of the key issues and opportunities that we heard about last year,” Mr Jochinke said.
Those issues include local infrastructure, transport, education, health, economic development, community and energy and the environment.
When people register to attend, they can nominate the theme or topic they are most interested in.

We are very much looking forward to hearing from our residents about how we can make the Wimmera Southern Mallee an even better place to live, work and
play,” Mr Jochinke said.
The event will detail progress made by the WSM Regional Partnership since the previous Assembly held late last year, as well as provide opportunities for
attendees to identify new projects, issues and opportunities.
For those unable to attend the Assembly on the 2 August, there are several other channels of engagement open to the public.

through local Councils, libraries, cafes and community centres.
In addition people can add their comments in the lead up to the Assembly on the WSM Regional Partnership website: engage.vic.gov.au/wimmera-southern-mallee or the assembly’s Facebook page which is https://www.facebook.com/WSMRP
