Contacts and Assistance
Regional Development Victoria (RDV) Offices are based at 18 sites throughout regional Victoria. This creates a local contact point for businesses, councils and community groups wanting to access the programs and services provided by the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR) and Regional Development Victoria.
The offices provide all of the services of the Victorian Business Line as well as personalised service.

RDV is the delivery agent for the Government's regional policy agenda and is responsible for delivering business and stakeholder engagement in regional Victoria as part of attracting and facilitating new investment, generating new jobs, growing exports, developing communities and investing in regional infrastructure. It also provides access to other government agencies, statutory authorities and the Federal government including AusIndustry, Austrade, Industry Capability Network and Regional Development Australia.
RDV’s regional offices also deliver the following Victorian Government services on behalf of other Departments:
- Aboriginal Cultural Heritage programs (Department of Premier and Cabinet)
- Aboriginal Community Development (Department of Premier and Cabinet)
- Business Engagement (Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources), and
- Support to Regional Management Forums
