Gippsland Logistics and Manufacturing Precinct

The Gippsland Logistics and Manufacturing Precinct (GLaMP) is a 69 ha site at the Tramway Road and Kirwin Road intersection in Morwell.

We’re investing over $15 million into GLaMP to help transform the Latrobe Valley into a hub for manufacturing and logistics, opening up new opportunities for businesses across the Gippsland region. It’s part of our ongoing investment in the creation of new trunk infrastructure across regional Victoria.

The precinct is helping to meet demand for industrial land close to Melbourne’s southeast peri-urban area - where land is limited and development costs are high – by providing serviced industrial land.

Construction is expected to support around 75 jobs, with up to 900 jobs forecast once the precinct is fully operational.

We’re also working with the University of Melbourne on a business case for geothermal heating at the site. This would offer a reliable, cost-effective heating solution that is reliably available at all hours of the day.
