Logic Industrial Precinct

The black, white and green Logic sign, with a solar powered light sitting atop the structure. To the left of the sign a truck can be seen travelling along the adjacent road.

Our investment in Wodonga’s Logic Industrial Precinct is just one example of our ongoing support for the creation of new trunk infrastructure across the regions, supporting businesses and industry to ensure the best economic outcomes.

The Logic Industrial Precinct sits along one of Australia’s most important freight corridors, making it a prime location for manufacturing, logistics, transport and training businesses. With excellent road and rail access, tenants can reach more than 75% of Australia’s population with next day transport.

The precinct currently supports around 800 jobs across a range of businesses.

Our funding supported Wodonga City Council to install a high-pressure gas connection at the precinct. The new Gas Gate system delivers 77 gigajoules of gas per hour, with the potential to expand to 1,000 gigajoules per hour in the future.

This ensures the precinct can accommodate businesses that require high-pressure gas, which further supports local business, jobs and economic growth in the region.

We also supported the construction of Opal’s new $140 million corrugated fibreboard manufacturing facility, which opened in 2023 and created over 100 new jobs. The facility creates sustainable packaging by converting recycled and recyclable cardboard and paper into packaging for manufacturers across Australia.

Additional funding has been provided to O’Brien Transport for a new multi-million-dollar depot and to freight provider SCT Logistics to expand their intermodal terminal at the precinct.

We’re also supporting delivery of Wodonga TAFE’s Heavy Vehicle Technology Training facility and Advanced Manufacturing Centre of Excellence at the precinct. Both are also funded by the Australian Government through the Albury Wodonga Regional Projects (AWRP) Initiative.

Businesses interested in setting up at the Logic Precinct can contact their local RDV office for more information.
