Bendigo Airport Terminal Expansion

We worked with the Australian Government and the City of Greater Bendigo to deliver a $12 million redevelopment and expansion of the Bendigo Airport in 2024. The project was part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the creation of trunk infrastructure across regional Victoria.

Bendigo Airport is located around 5km from the centre of town and is owned and operated by the City of Greater Bendigo.

It is an aviation hub for the region, supporting commercial, emergency and general services. These include flight training, aircraft maintenance and charter flight operations.

Our $3.5 million investment helped upgrade existing road and infrastructure – expanding the new terminal to 4 times the size of the old building.

New check-in facilities and a departure lounge were also created, along with upgrades to the indoor arrival and baggage collection areas, and toilets.

A 183-space carpark was also developed, along with an expanded apron capable of fitting two 70-seat aircraft, allowing the airport to include new airlines and future flights to new destinations.

Works also delivered the Bendigo Airport Business Park, offering 9 business lots for lease within the landside area of the airport to support opportunities for growth.
